VAL DU VINO WINERY

Tucked amongst old oak trees, Val du Vino Winery is located at the west end of Main Street in Murphys, California. It is the only working winery on Main Street. The barn dates back to the early 1920s and has been a winery for over 30 years and is now owned and operated by Jeannine Hebel and Jonathon Phillips.

As Director of Winemaking, Jonathon stresses the traditional method of hands-on winemaking. He selects a diversity of high quality grapes from local vineyards and produces limited quantities of each varietal. This process ensures a unique wine tasting experience with each visit. Jeannine, a renowned French Chef, incorporates her large knowledge of worldly cuisine when organizing all club events from small dinners to large wine pairing receptions.
