Middle Bar Bridge



Description:
Picturesque early 1900s steel bridge crossing the Mokelumne Hill River on Middle Bar Road, A popular spot for fishing. Also the pickup spot for river kayaking as well as one of the trail access points for the Coast to Crest Trail. To get to the bridge you can take the middle bar road from either Highway 49 near Jackson or Near Paloma - the roads are narrow and bridge is not rated for large vehicles.
