Calaveras County Museum Courtyard & Jail
Description:
Around the back of the Calaveras County Museum is a courtyard/garden with various outside gold rush era equipment displays, some outbuildings as well as the old County Jail entrance. On parts of the courtyard walls you can see some places where prisoners carved their names and initials.
