Here is a run-down of what doPlaces is looking for, of course it is limited to Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. Submissions can either be done from the convenient Add buttons on the bottoms of most pages or by sending the information via email to: listings@doplaces.com

If you have an email mailing list posting regular (local) events please add listings@doplaces.com to the list.

PLACES

Places include business, groups, services, clubs, parks, points of interest, etc.

EVENTS

Events include, activities, special events, community meetings, workshops presentations, grand openings, special sales, concerts, etc. Events need start AND end times

note: if pre-registration, application, or enrollment is required in order to participate or attend, It will be listed as a notice and not as an event, because people reading it on the day of the event would not be able to participate/attend.

NOTICES

Notices are for things that happen usually before an event or something that is available in the community for a limited time.

This can include enrollment for classes, trainings, and workshops, advance ticket sales to popular events (i.e. Preston Castle's Halloween tickets sell out way before Halloween). Fund-raising raffles, drawings, contests. Call for talent for local plays. Looking for participants for sports teams. Call out for vendors at upcoming community sales events. Limited time community assistance. A call-out for volunteers, donations and participants to community events.

Listings are free - there is no need to sign up or anything. You can use the web forms on doPlaces to submit a listing or via email - listings@doplaces.com.
