Description

Heart, Hips, and Healing Sounds

a Yoga Ceremony & Live Music

with Winter Jenday!

Join Winter for a journey of intention setting, mindful movement and sacred sound.

Held in a ceremonial container, we will warm the body by linking our movements with our breath as we explore fluidity in our bodies and let the mind quiet and our awareness become present. Supported by purifying plants, healing sounds and live music, we will melt into lunar-inspired poses which open our hips and heart, allowing tensions and blockages to dissolve, and new, fresh energies to flow freely throughout our bodies which support the whole of our being and the embodiment of our intentions.

All levels are welcome.

$10-$15 Sliding Scale

BIO:

Winter is a passionate songstress, keeper of sacred ways and certified yoga instructor with 700 hours of training. She studied Ashtanga Yoga in Goa, India, Transformative Yoga in Northern California and Mystical Yoga and Shamanism on Lake Atitln in Guatemala.

Winter has spent the last four years in countries and communities around the globe where she received teachings from elders and experienced many traditional forms of healing. From this spiritual work she has found inspiration and guidance for holding space and using music as medicine. Inspired by earth-based traditional ways, Winter strives to weave this wisdom into her work, guiding students to become aware of our deep connection with the earth and of the sacred space within where we find our awakening source and an abundance of love and gratitude for this journey.
