Description

This class is a joint presentation by the Amador County Master Gardeners and the Master Food Preservers - 530-621-5528

No fat, low fat, no salt, watch the sugar were constantly bombarded about how to eat healthier. One of the best ways to introduce healthy flavor into meals is to use herbs in our cooking. Herbs are easy to grow and preserve. Join UCCE Master Gardener Judy Sherrill and Master Food Preserver Noreen Goff to explore the culinary herbs that grow well in our area, how to grow them, when to harvest and how to preserve them to use in meals throughout the year.
