Description

The Biggest Little Celebration in the Mother Lode

The Annual Lumberjack Day parade and festival celebrates the lumber history of Calaveras County. It takes place in downtown West Point on the first Saturday of October. Complete with vendors, lumberjack competitions, a parade and car show, this event is fun for the whole family

Lumberjack Competition
Everything from ax throwing, choke cable setting, gentlemans sawing contest, suspension walking, team cutting, etc. .

8:30am - Soapbox Derby
9:00am - 5:00pm - Street and Food Faire
9:00am - 4:00pm - Car Show
9:00am - Equestrian Judging
10:00am - 4:30pm - Quilt Show at Pure Joy Hall
10:00am - King/Queen Crowning
11:00am - LUMBERJACK DAY PARADE (route Main Street and Pine Street)
